Why Burning Blue?
A blaze that started in June of 1950 in British Columbia burned for months. making its way across two entire provinces and casting a smoke pall so massive it was visible in Europe. The atmospheric changes caused by the huge amounts of smoke caused the sun to appear blue in many parts of the Northeastern US.
